didnt martin offiah play both ?

ps as for cohen , i think the saints relegation was a big factor in his loss of momentum.
then if i remember rightly , he pulled out of the england squad due to a his mrs being up the duff.

victim of lifes little hassles.

Chariots played for Widnes and Wigan.

Are you thinking of Harris bruce?

So did Jonathan Davies, and Iestyn Harris (i think)

Used to go to the wilderspool ground to watch warrington, (i think it was new zealand vs tonga or fiji or someone a few years ago, 26-24 in the league world cup i think, what a game that was)

Not been to the martin dawes, though it has seen warrington improve financially and on the pitch.

plenty of converts these days tbh and with the kiwi's if they came here to play union then they wouldnt be considered for a.b.'s so they tended to change codes as well and rep. nz at league.
they all heve central contracts now though so are employed as all blacks.

Loads of top Aussie players have made the switch, particularly the guys with background from Fiji, Tonga and the other islands - their better natural frame, athleticism & muscularity works well in both codes.

Wendell Sailor went from League to Union and back to League this year, quality player, just a bit of a muppet...
Matt Rodgers & Lote Tuqiri have done League to Union and been capped for both...
Watch out for Berrick Barnes for the Wallabies for years to come after starting off at the Broncos...

i grew up in worcester & the rugby club was at the bottom of my garden until they moved to sixways so i played in the kids side, also played rugby at school. when i left home i went to live in leicester & used to go & watch the tigers, so tend to have a soft spot for both clubs.

people shouldn't forget that union hasn't been a professional sport for all that long & i think there are more changes in store for the sport yet. i recall many moons ago attending the annual middlesex sevens tournament at twickenham & a team from wign rl invited to take part strolled past the best ru had to offer. it quite simply looked like olympic athletes running 'round pub sides - the gap in performance was that great.

of course, there's really no real reason to have 2 codes now that they're both professional, i wonder if we'll ever see just "rugby" one day.
