Not really sure if it's a good or bad thing to sell delafauo, but what am sure of is coming off the bench he is a better option than lennon, and really is mirallas much better.
I think the biggest selling point for Mirallas over Lennon and Geri is that he is at least a goal threat. I wish Geri could at least show more promise on goal or getting crosses in. I can't believe how poor he has been this season as I thought he would make a big impact this year.

Maybe so mate I just think delafauo is a bit different.

I think so too. He has a dipping technique on his cross that is world class, but he just doesn't have it together this year. I'm just not sure whether he is mentally weak or physically unprepared for this league. Hell, maybe he is a young player that is going through the motions. It is worrying that he has regressed the way he has this season.

I agree with you mate the lad looked quality at one point, but going back to what I said before if we are needing goal with 10mins left in a game and lennon mirrallas and delafauo are on the bench who would you turn to?

Probably Mirallas. He is the only two-footed player that can cut in and get a good shot off. When he is on his game, his movement is also the best out of the three. If the opposition is stacking the middle and leaving the wing wide open though, I might choose Geri over Lennon and Mirallas. Lennon's worst trait is his delivery; I'd bring him on for defensive duties if anything late in the game. Geri HAS the pace to beat his man and Mirallas has lost a good bit due to injuries. My main problem with Geri is his control of the ball has declined whilst under Koeman, so his pace is nulled by his lack of ball retention.

Del just doesn't have what it takes to play in this league, it's too physical for him and every game he's ever started for us, he's been burnt out by the 60 minute mark.

If we can get £7m+, take it.

How do you know that mate most of his rs appearances were off the bench, and I don't think he has started too many at Bournemouth

It's just based on watching Del mate, I think he burns out far too easily, he looks finished by half time and goes missing for huge periods. He's capable of pulling something spectacular out of the bag every now and again, but he lacks the strength, consistency, stamina and power needed for this league (in my opinion).

I'm not disagreeing with that mate,I would keep him personally to use of the bench as an impact player offers more than Lennon in that role but if he is to go I think we need to maximise what we get by looking at fees like ibe and even bolaise and I think somewhere in between.

Fair enough mate, player prices are inflated these days but I would struggle to picture Del in the starting line up of a premier league team. Maybe a Spanish club would take a punt.

I'm sure Barca still have an option on him until the end of this season? So I think they may have a say if he is sold whilst in that period

Thing is oppositions have sussed Del. If you give him space to whip a cross in he will hurt you, but now he is getting easily nullified.
Infact he is more likely to lose the ball in a dangerous area and put us on the back foot, than beat a man and control the tempo of a game.

I really wanted it to work out for him as he is blessed with some fantastic skill, but that does not make him a class team player.

For so many managers to have discarded him, with far more knowledge of what it takes to be a successful professional footballer, perhaps it is time to look(man) elsewhere.
