It's a real shame when a country has a fantastic crop of players who fail to live up to their ability through a combined lack of leadership and selfishness.

We've missed the boat. We've now have a great coach, the players have finally matured (albeit some of the a little too much) and there's a great deal of self belief.

Sadly though I think Spain's current crop (who have emerged as the world's no.1 in the past 2 years) will prove themselves to be one of the greatest sides of all time.

2002 - 2006 was our time and we blew it. That is unless our boys can crank it up another couple of levels before next summer, here's hoping.
