Just friendlies so far... I'm getting a feel for it...
I like the way it updates the game for teams and players that are on form!
Anichebe, dispite having a lower rating has been selected as player on-form!
He's been burying them!

Anichebe has been terrible for me in the career mode I've been playing all day. Tried to sell him pre season but he couldn't agree terms with Osasuna. He has then proceeded to be total sh*t in the league cup when I've given him a go and even Conar McAleney got a game ahead of him recently.

He shall be transfer listed in January.

I don't know if the server actually updates tactics and all that,
but I find if I play like how we really play, it helps!
Ie... If I attack down the left with Baines and Peanuts, I get better results!

Well I don't play with Everton's actual formation. I have my own one that I use no matter who I'm playing as. I'm gay like that.

And yeah started him in the league cup. And subbed him at Half Time. The bad ****. I be fair i need to sell someone for money an he's the prime candidate.

It's basically 5 3 2 but with wing backs pushed right up and forced to leg it back whenever I lose the ball. Means I don't concede too many but need 3 decent centre backs.
So you can imagine my fume when Jagielka broke his ankle in my first pre season friendly on this!! However Duffy has done ace, and even got a goal!

Lads I battered Leeds 5-1 on my lunch hour today, am I old now? Cos it was identical to FIFA 12? Same old animations and shooting abilities and nothing in the way of differences? Still them annoying pre emotive throw ins which the CPU is already moving before you get a chance to move and balls down the line are ALWAYS OFFSIDE

No mate. But if you're not noticing the differences of which there are plenty, then I'm not sure what to suggest. I don't think I've been offside once yet.

One thing that does make me laugh is the effort they go to with the soundtrack.....

Incidentally, does Jags and Johnny H only have a 79 rating on the PS3 version?

The game is very different to last year. Pace abuse has been cut down massively and the first touch system means you have to be a lot more cautious with moving the ball, can't just knock and run anymore.

That's true... If you hesitate for even a split second before taking a shot,
a defender is quick to take it off your feet...
And it's almost impossible to make run into the box without getting tackled!

Yeah... I play him behind Jelly-sandwich as well... He also scores for fun on the 360...
The only players that are rated above 80 on the 360 are Felli and Howard...
At least we're rated as 4 1/2 star team this year... Not a 4 anymore...
