F-14 the iconic plane, but honestly, if you want a do it all really, really well, you pick the plane falling out of the sky earlier in this thread, the F/A-18 Hornet (either C variant or the E/F Super Hornet).

My long time favorite though, by far, the F-15:

The F-15 in SPAMRAAM configuration (ie, 12 AIM-120D AMRAAM's for the latest F-15SA model)

F-14 the iconic plane, but honestly, if you want a do it all really, really well, you pick the plane falling out of the sky earlier in this thread, the F/A-18 Hornet (either C variant or the E/F Super Hornet).

My long time favorite though, by far, the F-15:

Maybe slightly off thread but the title of this thread reminded me of the story of Keith Miller the Australian Cricketing all-rounder. During the war, he flew Spitfires and was in the Battle of Britain. A Cricket interviewer once asked him did he ever experience pressure when playing cricket. Keith Miller said 'no, never'. I will always be a horndog for the F-16...it's just a pure sexay biznatch.

Let's be honest, though...you could be in either one on the tarmac and then this rolls up next to you and you're now little man on the totem pole. All hail the king of birds, RIP.
