There is a simple reason why he is the 5th choice central defender at Chelski and interestingly it is
a similar issue that I have with Holgate.

Spurs, I knew, they could not go long against Mina and Keane because they both love to head the ball.

However Holgate is a liability in terms of heading aggression and physical presence and that is why Keane just got
a 5 year extension from Carlo. Holgate is speedy and looks the part for most of of the time but is weak and wilts under pressure. Frank Lampard has said recently that you need strong, hard central defenders and that is why he
Fimori can go on-loan. Fimori is another Holgate.

Zouma yes because he is strong, fast and can head a ball. Fumori no because he can't head a ball. Simples.

He would be third choice while Holgate is injured. He would get his chance and he'd presumably back himself to take it.

Tomori would definitely be competition for a starting place. We’ve seen before alarming slumps in form with Holgate, Keane and to a lesser extent Mina. And....let’s not forget how terrible Keane was for a spell last year.
Tomori is very quick and I think has already made his debut for England. Serious contender for a starting place and would be an excellent signing, whether it’s a loan or not.
