Sky arts 8pm tonight, final part of the 'film noir' documentary, followed up (at 9pm) by 1958's "Touch of evil" which is a new one to me, Orson Welles final film and gets some rather good reviews. Scorching!

Well, that was harrowing. A character study of purest dislike. Quite the two fingers to the industry. Ouch.

That's a tough one to sit through mate. Well over 2 hours, very little dialogue, lots of classical music and typical Kubrick...

There are so many themes and layers to the film. You have to pay attention or else you'll lose the plot.
