Financial Fair Play investigation

It's like a bet builder. How many points deduction, will there be a transfer embargo, will Everton survive/be relegated, when will we find out?

Surprised the bookies haven't jumped on this. In fact, may be a good idea to check out what our relegation odds are now as they will probably know before anyone if it's likely to cost them money.

Sure we reported £170m losses due to covid, which is abnormal and we all laughed at it at the time.

I only followed it today in the car and hearing simon jordan quoting it was 90m covid. All the rest was other stuff including stadium costs.
The other point which you cant argue with was his comment on paying 100k a week to the likes of cenk tosun. I mean we've all said it on here. Paying the most mind-numbingly average players like we were coining in Champions league revenue. Ffs i remember not long ago on here people posting pay alex iwobi whatever he wants to sign another contract. If we're going to get done it should be for stupidity more than anything else.
I can see a suspended sentence here. I hope.

Just looked. 7-4 still so they havent changed their odds. Be worried if you see the independent commitee popping to ladbrokes just as they adjourn before their decision.

Am i right in thinking the covid loss was 90m(other being stadium etc) and yet there are clubs who posted 60m covid losses. Thats not worlds apart.
I think thats defendable if correct.

Losses of at least £170m are attributed to the impact on the Club of the COVID-19 pandemic, with £103m of that figure coming in the 2020/21 financial year. Continued investment in the playing squad, coupled with the impact of the pandemic, has resulted in the Club posting a loss of £120.9m for the year ending 30 June 2021.
