Instead of creating a thread when I need advice from an expert in a specialist subject I thought I’d create a thread to ask if anyone is available to discuss such things

Do we have anyone who works in mortgages? Mortgage advisor or lenders? I need some advice that doesn’t require sawdust.

I know one thing. A 2-year fixed rate mortgage probably isn't a 2-year fixed rate mortgage. I recently had a fight with my bank about such matters.
