I wont go as far as saying theyre rigged, but you're telling people to stop moaning, when there are definitely issues with those fixtures that are worth having a moan about.

I can't ever remember us playing first AND last games away, as someone else has just said, i thought there was some sort of rule against it

Mate as have to play games that’s why we are in this league

Crap that there will be no fans at the derby again. Between that happening twice and having both those FA Cup games at Anfield in recent years they've dodged one of their hardest matches of the year a few times.

De Piffle said in March that 'we'll turn the tide by June', and suggested that life would return towards 'normality' by Christmas. I wouldn't put much stock by that windbag of a wastrel.

Tbf life has sort of gone back to normal - you can go the pub, for food, casino hell some are still going on holiday.

People are looking through this with PL eyes - League 1/2 clubs rely on gate receipt money to stay afloat - the Govt will do all they can to ensure many dont go to the wall.

Providing this "2nd spike" doesnt happen then I imagine by November you'll have atleast reduced capacity in stadiums.

End of the day, we have to play those 19 other teams twice a season regardless. Fans or no fans for those early home games, including the derby, is what it is. It's crap, but football has been weird for ages now.

Probably the more pertinent question then, is when was the last time we played both first and last day at home!?
2015/2016 v watford 1st day, norwich last day

You could say 2011 before that year with QPR home 1st,newcastle home last -due to spurs 1st day called off for London riots

2008 Arsenal [1-6] and Portsmouth [1-0]
