These Monday night games we keep getting lately are no good for us shift workers, the sooner we get back to weekend games the better...

Monday night is crap for us in America too. I’m busy in work and have to watch the match on replay. It also means there’s no match to look forward to on the weekend. How many effin Monday games do we have to have? Feels like every week.

I would like the fixtures to stay spread out like they are. I think all games should be televised. People would still go the game and it might make tickets cheaper so more likely to sell out. My weekend itinerary would be something like this.

Friday
17:45
20:00
Saturday
12:30
17:30
19:45
Sunday
12:00
14:15
16:30
19:45
Monday
20:00

Friday and Monday games would probably have to involve teams not in Europe during the parts of the season when that is on. The Saturday would leave 3pm available so People still attended lower league matches. In fact it might drum up more business in the pubs around and tge club bar as there will be football on the box from 1230-2130. The 18:00 slot on Monday would be available if needed but would be a back up slot.

Still no date for the Villa match?

wouldnt surprise me, the way they have us playing monday/friday, i was thinking they may try that for the Villa double

At least it would be fair.

Our next 4 league games are played over 18 days Liverpool have 21 days for the same 4. I know they have Europe but its convenient how its fell for them.

With these new kickoff times, it means we still haven’t had a standard 3pm kick off for a game since the 4-2 win over Brighton in early October

I wonder if these times all over the place are going to be the norm, I can see it.
To be honest a 3pm is one I really dont want now, its a bit redundant while we cant go, which is why the worst game of the weekend get piled off with it.
