The problem is Pickford is on a multi-year contract worth god knows how much, easily 80k a week and nobody is going to pay those wages, let alone a transfer fee anywhere near what we paid for him.

He's just another loser left behind from previous failed regimes.

We can't bring in a new number one with him sitting on the bench earning 4-5m a year for the next three years.
