Flying the England flag

I know that they won't be up for long, but just wondering what people's views of so many England flags on display? I've only really noticed other flags on a few pubs and what I think is a few hardy soles on their car (It may have been the same portugal flat on two ocassions).

And before you ask, while I'd never wear one myself, I understand why people would want to. Another "positive" is that flying the flag appears to be slowly moving away from its association with the BNP and is being reclaimed by all the English, irrespective of colour.

Doesn't mean anything to me other than nationalists and people who like to wind other people up with it, if you're so proud of being English, why aren't they flags up all year?
