Just sat in Belfast International Airport tonight...had a three and a half hr wait for a delayed flight. Ordered myself a Chicken Caeser Salad. After a 43 minute wait it arrived.....plate was full of sticky finger marks, the bowl was very hot and the salad dressing had curdled over limp lettuce. Sent it back and the server said “We’ll cook you another one”! When the hell did salads start to get cooked? After another 20 minute wait no sign of the replacement so being pee’d off I asked for a refund which was duly given. Finished my pint and another salad turned up but didn’t have the heart to eat it having had a refund. So, off I popped to WH Smith’s for the £3.99 Meal Deal and picked my sarnie, crisps and drink and queued to pay. The £3.99Meal Deal came to £7.99! I sh1t you not....£7.99for a £3.99 Meal Deal.
The bar had given me an Irish tenner back in my refund so just couldn’t be arsed explaining it was the Meal Deal.
All told it was a food disaster.
Had to get that off my chest.
