Ta mateTyrick Mitchell is highly regarded at Palace and had a very consistent season. His defensive qualities are first class and suit a back 4 but he has been challenged under Glasner who prefers 3 at the back plus wing backs to get forward more effectively. He has started to do this and got on the score sheet against Man U towards the end of the season. One cap (from memory) already and would have made a lot of sense playing next to Guehi. At the moment I don’t see a better LB prospect for England but these things change constantly. FWIW Shaw did ok when he was finally fit.
He was fine, but the problem is being fully/finally fit - you realistically have him for 1-2 games a tournament.
I'd say Mitchell and him so you can swap would've made sense personally.
