Did you give yourself some extra £££ there? I was looking at Ayew before the season started, but he was valued at 10m or something, so wasn't pursuing it at the time, then Spurs bought him for £3.4m. I was like, wtf! :( :(

Nah, I buy them young and stretch out the payments as best I can over 4 years. Then I sell off the older players on high wages. I like having quicker players to get me out of trouble when my tactics are crap so the older fellas never do well in my team.

January transfer window was annoying me, Arsenal got low bids accepted for Depay and Jonathan Tah and neither of the selling teams would accept my bid matching what Arsenal offered. Sometimes the game just won't let teams sell you players, never happened like that in last year's if you matched the bid they would accept it.

At the start Ayew is willing to move away even for less than £3.4m, which is super weird.
 
Brought my Rochdale team to the Prem - signed Guidetti, Balanta and Timo Horn.

Jose Enrique quits Barcelona - job interview from them... mind split in two - if I get that job it'd be great, but also - Rochdale in the prem ffs!

Stick with Rochdale until you at least win the prem with them.

He is, cuz someone already bought him on mine and he's instantly at least double.

I've signed some good players and will probably be massively in debt by Christmas when the season starts, but I had to make sacrifices, like. Might make screenies later today/tomorrow.

I've also made my old tactics that I used which are pretty "tiki-taka", and won quite a lot so far - back to back first places in L1 and the Championship, but it is probably gonna be a lot different in the prem, cuz some of my players are poo.

Signed Balanta, Guidetti, Streller and a young striker from Juventus anyway.

Howis Guidetti been? I looked at him but I decided against it. Might as well load yourself up with some debt if you're doing well enough. Who's this Streller lad? There were some decent frees at the end of the first season to fill the squad, likes of Cleverly and Ben Arfa.

I was proper fuming when I had signed Valdes on a free in January and flogged Howard off only for him to come to me a month before the end of the season and complain about wanting to go to Spain. So I transfer listed him and not a single Spanish team came in for him, Just Arsenal and City and he ended up going to City. (more than doubled his wages though, which was ace. They also took McGeady off my hands for 11 mil as well, couldn't stop laughing at that one.) Still can't complain, 15 mil for a player I signed for free 5 months earlier aint too bad.

I had to drop a wedge to find a new goalie though, there aren't many good young keepers knocking about. Poor Atletico Madrid though, I poached Oblak off them for about 24 mil, almost feel bad seeing them lose another class young goalie.

I signed Bernard from Shakhtar, got Deulofeu on loan again, and Angel Correa on loan as well. Signed Lisandro Lopez to replace Distin as my back up 5th defender and that's about that.
 
Can someone give me a short review of this?

Bought it a few weeks ago but have only been able to play for about 15mins.. Didn't like the new interface much..

Well I reckon they've gotten the processing faster for non-match processing and data base accessing so it doesn't take as long between matches. The scouting system seems to have been give a bit of a revamp, instead giving you an estimated range of a player's attributes instead of just leaving them blank, it is a longer process and requires more regular updating, but gives you a little bit more information on the little personality/playing style quirks which are unique to the player once your report is complete.

The match engine still has a few kinks, but looks a little nicer and isn't so taxing on the pc. They've added more intelligence to the journos and other personnell interactions, there are more issues you have to deal with in the man management style of things.

The new interface is something I quite like, it makes it a lot easier to select the screens you're most likely to go. I play all of these religiously though, so if you want something less bias I would look online.

Recently started a game with Blackpool, completely revamped their squad and signed a load of random foreign players from Eastern Europe (some bargains to be had there) as well as a few from Scandinavia and Scotland with a few free transfers added in to boost the numbers. Also took Blackett from United and Garbutt and Browning from Everton to add to Lundstrum who was already there. Managed to get promoted via the play offs after finishing 5th, after winning the semi finals on pens against Brentford then thrashing 3rd place Middlesbrough 6-2 in the final.

Once I got to the Premier League I was given £8m to spend and had a heck of a job to do as most of the free transfers I had signed were only on one year deals and to be honest none of them were anything special. The biggest hit I took was the fact that loan players made up a large part of my team as I had:

Joe Lewis (Cardiff)
Luke Garbutt (Everton)
Browning (Everton
John Lundstrum (Everton)
Tyler Blackett (Manchester United)

I could only take one of the Everton lads again due to only being allowed to loan one player from another PL team. I took Garbutt as he was the best and there wasn't really many other decent left backs about that I could afford. In a stupid move I didn't realise that Blackett was out of contract and by the time I went to search for him to get him back again he had already signed for another team. Finally Joe Lewis who was my starting keeper had also left.

I decided that I wanted young players with potential to grow so I bought a few cracking youngsters after selling off some of my older players:

Joe Gomez - £5.2m
Marko Pjaca - £1.5m
Conor McAleny - £500k
Kristoffer Ajer - £875k

As well as them I also bought a few squad fillers such as Matthew Kilgallon, Jack Hunt, Jake Keane and Yaser Kasim and a few regens.

Also in my first season I signed Pavel Savitskiy and Darko Lazovic, however both failed to get work permits, despite both playing for their national teams. I also can't send them out on loan as no one wants them and I can't get my bored to get a feeder club abroad and when I finally do get them to agree to it, they come back saying no clubs are suitable. So I am stuck with two players who can't play (both would probably be star players for me), is there any way round this? Or am I best selling?
