I can't imagine a new buyer shelling out big bucks without a stadium plan in the works (that's why we havent had a buyer sniff at us). Cost overruns could add another 500-600M in debt onto the squad and all for just being able to squeeze another 15K Scandivaians in the building. Actually I'm not sure why they need to leave Analfield anyway. It seems like a good ground. I wouldn't mind buying it on the cheap and turning it blue. It seems the perfect size for a squad like ours. Its loud, and the fans are right on top of the players. A stadium like the Emirates it seems like you could hear a pin drop and the fans are like a mile back.

Just heard their new chairman speaking. When asked if Benitez is staying he responded with "Rafael is a good manager; he's contracted to the club for another 4 years, so I suppose that answers your question" or words as near as damn it. Not exactly a ringing endorsement. I suppose it wont be his job to stick with him or not and he's leavinmg that ption open. Bentez at his press conference today was fielding questions about his future with "my future is the West Ham and Atletico games etc".

I'd be astounded if he were manager of Liverpool next season.

That may be one positive if someone does buy maybe they will keep him.
