I just finished reading the book this evening, it was a thoroughly enjoyable read.

The interviews produce so much interesting detail and facts that I had not known previously. Its great that former players and managers have an opportunity to share their experiences of being with Everton and their careers in general.

The book is really nicely presented too, congratulations Steve it was a wonderful read.

Would it be possible to buy volume 2 off me direct please? The reason being, I have boxes of them at my home, and have been restricted due to the lockdown to shift them. If you could do that, I would appreciate it. Thanks

I was going to buy via Amazon but more than happy to buy direct. I would like both volumes, is it possible to buy both direct from you?
I can pay via paypal or whichever way is best for you. Could you PM details please ;)

Brillant book. Great to remember some of the players most still seem to have so much affection for our great club. If You KNOW YOUR HISTORY then this will be a collector's item. Shows how close we were to glory in the seventies. Reminded me I watched Dobos debut from the boys pen. Very enjoyable read, full of interesting facts.

Really, really pleased you enjoyed it. Thanks for supporting me in purchasing the book, also the former players foundation. Look forward to volume 3.

Both volumes ordered.
Volume one via Amazon (using the link from GOT) ;) and Volume two direct from @alan ball ;)
Greatly looking forward to these after reading some of the reviews on here.

Well blow me down! I wasn't expecting that.
I know that Amazon are famed for their rapid delivery, but Steve beat them to it by a country mile.
Within about an hour of ordering volume 2 from Steve he hand delivered it.
What a gentleman and it was great to hear first hand of some of his encounters with players past and present.lol The photo's on his phone are like a 'who's who' of Evertonians ;)

Fantastic to chat with you Steve and I can't wait to read the books. Thanks again.

I’ve sold a good few books on here lately. Anybody else willing to take the plunge ? All for a good cause, and I can assure you, nobody will be disappointed with it.

Just finished these 2 books. Brilliant read. Great insight into the players. Interesting one on Joe Harper. I always thought he was terrible and looked out of shape. Bought by Harry to form a duo up front with Big Joe Royle. Harry got replaced a few weeks later and Joe Royle got a long term injury. That left Harper on his own up front. He hated Billy Bingham said the players used to call him Billy Liar after the TV series on at the time.
As I said gives a great insight into players and staff at goodison.
Brilliant reading for any blues fans.
