Aside from the 'hold out for a 0-0' formation, what else do you think Everton use in training? Seems baffling that a Premier league club are unable to change a broken system.

….formation worked fine earlier this season.
With loads of energy, it was working. The lethargy and staleness has completely blunted that approach and has for a long time. The manager and his 2 mates must see that but if they have they are doing nothing to address it

I bet they try loads of formations in training, all against cones, poles and mannequins.
Then match day comes around and they find out they’re up against real people who run around with a bit of vigour again

Dyche has played a certain way his whole career.

Direct, rigid, holding shape.

That is why he did well at Burnley, it’s why he was fired at Burnley, it’s why he was hired at Everton.

He is not going to deviate from the tactics that have served him well in his career and switch to any of that fancy-shmancy high press, high intensity nonsense.
