Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

Sky Sports News caught up with Duncan Ferguson on the eve of the 2034/35 season. The manager seemed to be in no rush to take any managerial vacancies and seemed happy to take a step back. "I'm just going to enjoy it" Ferguson said. "It will be nice to spend time with my family, enjoy going to some matches as a spectator and do some media work. I've been in management for 16 years and it's sometimes good to take time out and reflect. I will be back but there is no rush." Ferguson gave his thoughts on Fylde for the forthcoming season and also spoke about Everton. "It'll be interesting to see how Fylde get on under Adkins. Vinnie Bytheway has gone back on loan and I'd like to see them continue making strides. It will be a difficult season as they don't have any money to spend and will rely heavily on loan players to get them through. I'm also looking forward to the new Premier League season. Everton should be aiming for a European place, they have a decent squad and good players coming through to help them kick on."
