I love F1.

ever since senna's jaw dropping first lap at donnington in the rain in '93. youtube it if you don't know what i'm talking about.

i have feeling this will be an amazing year of racing.

Dont like Hamilton for some reason, but last year even i was chearing when he won...

...I look out for Webber, Button and Raikonnen mostly...Button being my favourite...he just doesn't have the car sadly.

Brawn GP have been pretty hot in testing this year though (y)

As a big follower of F1 I'm delighted to see it back on the BBC.

Hopefully Lewis can retain his title to reaffirm what a good driver he really is, though Alonso should push him all the way this season.

He did all that on slicks as well. Amazing driver.

Just watched it then, takes some doing that. Theres a video from sennas perspective and when he moves into third he couldn't see nothing but spray, amazing stuff that

Love me some F1.

Glad they're going back on the slicks, suits Hamilton's 'brake to give myself half an inch of turning room' style. Shame he probs wont win the title this season though as McClaren have built a poor car.

Jenson though is supposed to be in a beast, bloody Ross Brawn aye.

As long as Raikonnen or Alonso don't win it though, anything else will do.

no interest for me tbh.
james hunt as a kid then mansell, since then not interested, tbh i prob wasnt then either, it was probably raining outside or somethin so stuck in.

arl fella loves it though, when the middle grecian was a toddler my arl fella had him watchin and got him rooting for alonso, then bought him loads of alonso stuff, official hats ffs at about £25 a pop. so last year ha had alonso, arl fella hamilton for some rivalry.

he's no chance now though as the lid has discovered the beautiful game and the birthrite he has been given. it's formula gone now he's got a s.t. for next season, spectators have watched from goodison rd for 117 years and he'll become the 5th generation to do so. he wants to know if it's ok with everyone if he brings his drum:unsure:

You have to appreciate this though. He's on slick tyres on a really wet track flying past everyone. He cant see a thing for the spray.

From reading the rule changes for this season, they seem to have tried to level the cars out again and rely much more on the skill of the driver than the speed of the car. We'll see much more overtaking and drifting etc this season. And all the drivers who have had no chance in the last few years are going to be there or thereabouts much more often.

Back on its rightful channel of BBC 1 as of next weekend for the Aussie GP. Anyone care? Are you all anti-hamilton fans?

Who do you want to win this year?
Agreed the Beeb always did F1 much better than ITV so its good to have back in its rightful home.

As for a winner..Alonso could well be in with a shout otherwise its anyone from McClaren or ferrari

I cant wait for the season to start. Hope I get to see plenty as i often work on sundays. Not sure about some of the rule changes, tho I do approve of the proposed most wins system, which I actually suggested to my dad when discussing the original medal system. And good to see it on BBC again. Is it gonna have the same people working, as it largely did when it 1st migrated to itv?

The best Grand Prix's where with Schumacher, Hakinnen, Couthard and even Damon Hill in the Jordan. Loved them..shame Jordan just went down hill from there...

...but this is the best start to a race: I remember it so well...The race was great too, not only with the giant crash at the start the fight between Couthard and Schumacher in the pits shortly afterwards.
