Also, I think the heavy handed modding that ive witnessed recently is certainly not helping "the game flow", certain people have gone pyar Howard Webb and its creating a hostile environment.

But im sure we arent allowed to talk about that.

That's a cheap, populist shot in my book. All of the mods here vountarily try to moderate in a manner which recognises GOT's legacy, spirit and roots, whilst maintaining the forum roughly in line with the forum rules.

It's those very rules and the willingness of most posters to adhere to the spirit of those rules that makes this the best place on the 'net for Evertonians to meet and chat.

90% of the posters here cause the moderators no problem at all and are effectively self moderated.

I would suggest anyone that has a problem with how the site is moderated (i) considers why perhaps they have been moderated (ii) why perhaps others have been moderated and (iii) what would the consequences be of minimal or non-existant moderation.

None of the mods are perfect, we get things wrong and we know posters can get things wrong especially when emotions run high.

I think I speak for all moderators when I say that if we get something wrong report it to @GrandOldTeam where if necessary the situation can be rectified.

We have a common interest in keeping this the best football forum on the net, let's not forget that.

Could you get into the forum spirit and condense this into a gif?
