All good forums need a reasonable turnover of regular posters. It keeps the banter fresh, allows different opinions and points of view etc.
Some of those mentioned were banned - nobody is banned without justification. Sometimes people just get stale and then try to provoke other posters and be deliberately contentious.
I don't believe it's healthy for a forum to get too cliquey - see the 'is there a clique' thread, and the 'old guard' possibly did, putting off new people from posting.
There was another thread recently about founding members of the football league that are in the premiership - Wolves and Burnley make it a record number for next season - but to use an analogy on the theme of this thread, would Accrington Stanley be a valuable addition to the premiership??
I am not saying it would not be good to have these posters back, regular posters can become good mates, and there is a little bit of sentimentality about founders, but let's look to the future, and welcome new members to what is definitely the best EFC forum on the web.
