I thought he would come good. I always see the upside of life. I am virtually.always wrong. I blame my mum from whom I inherited this outlook.

It was a funny one, for me. Never wanted him because he had the air of a good player who was getting a bigger opportunity than he deserved based on what he’d shown as a manager.

He speaks well, though, and is a likeable guy, and I think we all got swept up in the end to last season so I found myself thinking “maybe”.

I think it was obvious quite early on this year that he was out of his depth, though, and DEFINITELY by The Bournemouth Bummings. Fans can be forgiven for baselessly hoping a manager comes good, Directors and owners not so much.
