I've just watched his interview on youtube. Have to say it already feels better than our last manager. I'm under no illiusions that there are some hard times a head. But I at least feel like he will go the right way about getting us better.
As a fan, I can take losing but did your best and gave it a go. But I can't take given up without a fight. Seen that from the blues this season.

What it is with this club and handing out 2.5/3 year contracts to every manager through the door?!?! Have the idiots running this club learned absolutely nothing?!?!
Should have been an 18 month deal max - prove yourself Frank: prove you want the Everton job not just any job, prove you've got what it takes to cut it as a Prem manager not just looking for a contract. We're either so weak at contract negotiation or the clowns at the top are even more inept than I thought.
It's not far fetched to think he could be gone this time next year if the wheels come off and yet AGAIN it's another big pay off. Just glad it's Moshiri's money and not mine paying up all these long term contracts. Madness.

Whatdya mean?! We go through managers at a rate of knots, paying off every single one of them for years because we have put them on ridiculous contracts. I'm not saying Frank will be a disaster (he might be great), but he should be chomping at the bit for this job not us falling over ourselves to give him a very comfortable contract. Daniel Levy probably wouldn't give Pep a 3 year deal incase it goes wrong and he has to pay him off. Moshiri hands contracts out like candy.
Like I say, I'm glad it's his money not mine. Now if you'll excuse me: I'm going to start my coaching badges. I fancy a new kitchen and a Bentley and a month in Dubai......
