I said the same when Benitez arrived but I can’t see new managers coming into Everton and dropping the captain and club legend. I reckon they’d think it wouldn’t sit well with the fans.

It might fall apart in a month or so, who knows..... but if us as a fanbase can't get a little lift from a pretty solid transfer window, with a new manager and backroom staff to boot.....what's the point. Totally agree with you mate.
