This could be the problem, good guys come last, don't forget our last decent manager wasn't a good guy...Seems like a good guy from all I've seen so far, hope he can do it.
I remember Koeman ended up looking like a (fat) dosser dragged in off the street.Poor guy has visibly aged 10years in the last couple of months.
That's Everton for you.
Started that way too thoughI remember Koeman ended up looking like a (fat) dosser dragged in off the street.
Well the only charm to frank is he's a young good looking manager. His hair has already checked out. Just waiting for the rest of him to follow
Really like the manager in the opposite dug out there. One we had 10 years ago when we were broke. Beating us to push us into the mire. While he is close to a European Cup final and going for champions league. His hair has already checked out. Just waiting for the rest of him to follow
The fact that people keep mentioning he's a sound lad. Major red flags. I dont care. I want him to do well regardless. I know what you mean you want nice things for nice people. I'd like that to. Its a different ball game with elite professional footy.Seems like a good guy from all I've seen so far, hope he can do it.
To me he seems to have a likeable dismissive arrogance to him that other managers we've had have lacked. He can back that up from his playing career. Seems to be abrupt with any snide questions from the media.
He's made a few poor decisions so far but I like him. He's being let down by the players mainly, and has been on to a loser after the damage that Benitez did to the squad.
Has to be given a full season to show what he can do and unless he appears to be a terrible appointment, i'd give him the time he needs to turn things around. We need managerial stability and the right kind of manager and I think he fits that criteria at least in the short to medium term. But ultimately he will be judged on results like the rest.
For those who didn't know the score Frank Lampard called out the PL over the fixture disadvantage we have had.. Well here it is - Premier League opposition only

So that's at least 16 goals down to Kepa? I don't know much about the bloke, is he really that bad?I mean, their Xg was about 38 and but they had Kepa in goal. I'm not sure how much was Lampard and how much was Kepa.
Pep was an excellent player.Sadly being a good player and good manager are not the same thing.
Pep, Klopp, SAF, Mourinho the list goes on.
