Villa were plodding along with a no mark manager that was taking them nowhere but down. They have now replaced him with a superior manager and they are now in 12th place, just one point off 'fantasy land' 10th place. The idea that Lampard is getting the very best out of this squad is what's fantasy land.

Villa also have actual goal scorers unlike us too. I agree Lamps needs to be doing better but our squad is bobbins in forward areas.

Look at villa's squad, you would have to work seriously hard to take them down. If nothing else they have plenty of goals in that team ( which we could only dream of ). so not really a great comparison on what Lampard's got in front of him to try and get a tune out of.
