An Everton manager since Moyes come in has never had such low expectations.

He had a free hit in that regard.
Our fault for putting such little expectations on him. Ancelotti and Big Sam both walked into relegation battles and accomplished comfortable mid table finishes. Joe Royle won a cup! He himself has lowered our standards with such little improvement from our worst ever manager.

I’ve already said I don’t based on the fact that he has had a month and a half to prepare for this and we still looked as inept and before the break.

Nah, better off letting home sell players , the give home the money to spend and then sack him straight after … worked last season

Probably gone after City, maybe Brighton. The fact that we kept him on through World Cup tells me that Moshiri is probably eyeing Martinez. He’s comfortable with three at the back so Thelwell might be on board. We know Kenwright has a hard on for him. God help us.

So many managers looking for jobs but it feels inevitable we’ll get an underwhelming hire like Roberto. I can’t see it working. Especially because we don’t have the money to fix our goal scoring problem.

Lampard is likable but hapless. Time to go. It doesn’t make me happy because I fear what’s next, but he’s had plenty long. The last few matches have been especially pitiful.

Vila sacked Lampard knowing they could get Unai Emery.

It's that standard, really.

My worry, or at least it was until Thelwell turned up - that I shared on here in the summer was that we'd sack Lampard at Christmas and the clubs first choice after Benitez, Martinez would come in.
We went after Vitor Pierara; that’s the type of owner we have. A man who takes guidance from outside forces who want for their own end.

Kevin Thelwell has failed so far, but if he has a choice you’ll be seeing Nuno on the sidelines.

Either way, I’m sure it’ll take to long to appoint and leaving us at more of a disadvantage

Get rid. Do whatever. I don't even care if he stays or goes at this point. Its not like Lampard going or staying will change anything. This team will 100% take us down. Wage thieves the whole 'kin pack of them.

He had a free hit this season really but he's been so bad nobody should be surprised if they sacked him tonight or after Man City.

His lack of credentials as a manager really sticks for me - whether to stick or twist would all come down to what potential replacements would come in.
The World Cup being when it was gave us the perfect opportunity to get a replacement in and bed him in.

The club is sleepwalking towards relegation. No idea what the club is seeing on the pitch that warrants giving Lampard any more time.

The standards at this club are on the floor.
