I have had a feeling he might walk for a few weeks based on his body language. We are woeful at transfers and perhaps he's going to jump before things get untenable to save his career. The board are playing Russian roulette with our season because we could easily be 6 games in 6 losses because we just cannot score and will not win tomorrow.
This is way over the top.

Where's he walking to mate for a few weeks?

Is he walking back after he's had a few weeks off?

Based on his body language? Please stop.

Frightening to hear him confirm the suspicion that we were looking to go just with Calvert-Lewin this season up front before his injury.
The exact words he said were:

"He's an England striker when he's fit and firing and we saw what he can bring us at the end of last season. Salomon Rondons here so i know at the minute everyones eyes are on that position and i've been pretty honest that we're looking there. But the idea that theres desperation is not there. We need to make the right move, for the right player at the right time in a considered way so we remain in that position. "

I have no idea how you draw the conclusion that we were not looking at another striker before Calvert-Lewin got injured from those words. It clearly doesn't say what you and others are claiming.

Is it a misquote on the terrible BBC sports site where he allegedly said "I may not be here at the end of the transfer window" ? I can see him leaving in maybe 2 months but surely that this soon?
He was trying to avoid answering anymore on Anthony Gordon, he was asked if he could guarantee fans he will be hear at the end of the transfer window, they are after a headline ffs, he just shut them down. Yes we need a striker but he can go in to press conferences and say oh we are so desperate for a striker because anyone we have enquired about has just had another 5M put on to their asking price.

I don’t know why everyone is in love with Broja, he had a worse goal return than both Maupay and Adams last season.

It was before that.

*sigh*

Context though. Was asked that's it's been 6 weeks since Richy left and no striker. He said we had Dom 3 days before the season started so it hasn't been 6 weeks of having no one and that we looked to strengthen other areas.
Exactly. So what he's saying is that before DCL got his injury there was no moving for another striker just enquiries for midfielders.

DCL getting injured so we couldn't sell him messed things up. Think this was the plan which is why Gordon has to go now.

Well thats what he said directly in relation to a striker. I seen the entire press conference and no once did he say what you are claiming.

He said that we have been looking at a striker. Show me where he said they were not looking at a striker until Dom got injured, a direct quote saying that.
