This is the 3rd club he has been at and it's not worked out, I think he just isn't a manager full stop tbh.
I wont change history like. Derby he did alright, play-offs and lost when it came down to 1 game.
Chelsea, had nurtured some players into very good players and Tuchel came in, with his tactical knowledge and nouse, won the CL.
I dont really care about either of them though. It's what he's doing at Everton.
I have sympathy that he's lost Richarlison. However he has signed off on McNeill and Maupay, two garbo footballers.
I have sympathy that hes joined a circus, it doesn't excuse his severe lack of tactical nouse. Trying to play football with these players is suicide. Absolute suicide.
I would say my only hope is... but
My hope has well and truly gone unfortunately. I can't see how ANY manager comes in and changes these players. There is no quality, absolutely zero in attack. We saw some dark days under Moyes. (I remember three 4-0 drubbings in 12 days) Villa, Bolton, WBA. But NEVER did I feel under Moyes we were ever in any major long-term danger. For all of Moyes' faults, at home, he tended to do his best work.
We have lost any sort of home advantage, AT A TIME WHEN THE FANS are turning up early, pushing them to take on the support. It's criminal.
Lampard has had a year now, last season a write-off for sure, but he's had 6 months + a pre-season + a mini break to sort things out and get them structured. We have absolutely no ideas in attack, none. It's more than his time to go, and I wish we weren't in this position because out of all the managers we've had in my time going in 26 years, I genuinely think he's one of the most likeable, but he's out of his depth.
