He won 3 in 30 with a crap squad thus he was sacked. I don’t understand why you think he can get us out.
His squad had about 8 players on short term contracts or just about to end.
plus a couple of loans, they were capable of beating us and ran out of steam towards the end.
He is a far better manager than Lampard .
dont know if he is the man for us but we would definitely have a better chance than under the current one.

He's an experienced manager who has dealt with a team at the bottom of the league and kept them up on numerous occasions, he isn't a saviour but it's pretty obvious what his strengths are
The worry for me is: last season, his Burnley team looked worse than this current Everton team.

They actually looked better under that Mike Jackson fella.

What are different about his strengths compared to what we're currently doing?

What is he going to come in and change that will change our fortunes?

He wasn't managing them at the end

Then whoever the guy who provided the funds would surely want his money back with profits?
Investing doesn't always work like that. It's like Ellis short at Sunderland or randy Lerner at villa. It just got to the point where you don't keep chucking in money to protect an asset you don't know how to turn around and get your return. There comes a point where you cut your losses, hence the phrase.
