At this points its painfully clear Kenwright is running things and making decisions. Its also clear he has been trying to hide that. And, in his eyes hes tired of fans telling him hes wrong or needs to go, and so his ego keeps him from firing Frank because he wants to "show us" that he is smart and the fans are fools. For him to fire Frank is an admission that yet again hes wrong and see the possible end of his control over the club.

Strong as in he could probably deck the other applicants but on what planet is Dunc the saviour of our premier league status as manager?
Rooney did a good job at Derby so I could see that as a link but Dunc is completely unproven.
Oh aye but its kenwright. I dont think he has a vast knowledge of managerial talent in europe or around the world. I think he looks in his little book to see whose number hes got. Martinez already gone to portugal. Moyes wont be getting sacked now. So who is left. Ferguson, rooney and dont forget gary megson.Personally i think hes been banking on west ham sacking moyes. Great leadership from the top of the club. Again!!!

I'd have to disagree he was in charge of a team that was an even bigger sh1tshow than we are. Had most of his best players sold from under him and effectively had to play with loans and youth through a season that they started on -21 which to be honest to survive under those conditions would have been a miracle. If they hadn't started on -21 he would have saved a club that shouldn't have been saved he did a good job under very difficult conditions.
Is that disagreeing? I said he did a good job, but it’s not like he got enough points to win the league and was just screwed over by the deduction, he just about got enough to keep them up. Would we look twice at a manager who had just about kept a team in the championship if they weren’t a big name? Not a chance.

I think people go overboard about the difficult circumstances too. Obviously it was a tough gig but on the flip side it’s easy to foster a siege mentality and you effectively have a free hit because nobody is expecting anything from you. In many ways it was a job without any pressure at all, so almost the exact opposite of this one.

The post-match comments get worse and worse every week.

He's basically openly admitting that we have no pre-planned tactics in the final third, which is clear enough from watching us play.

Bizarre trying to understand what he's thinking or how he can be so naive.

The game has long moved past the days of "get it in the final third and make something happen"
