As far as i remember Everton wasn't in the relegation zone when he became our manager. He took us from 16th place to 16th place in the end.

Epic rewriting off history there, he took over a team that only won once in nearly four months worth of football.

If you were actually watching Everton last season they you would be aware of this! If we kept Benitez on any longer then we were down, and we'll be down this season if we keep Lampard on for longer as well sadly.

I think its pretty inevitable at this stage. Unless they're going to give him the next two games as expected losses so that whoever the new manager is has a better chance of a winning start. But I doubt that. I'd say his time is well and truly up. Nice guy but couldn't deal with the hand he was dealt and that's his job ultimately.

Can't post all as GOT can get in trouble. But Telegraph citing "club sources" is ominous imo.

Frank Lampard is set to find out his fate as Everton manager within the next 24 hours, with sources indicating that the club are preparing to make a change.
