I just can't get my head around the "Board member was put in a headlock" bs that they spouted, such a shtstain of a board to basically make up stuff about the fans.

Even when blatantly nothing happened, disgrace that.

I'd be rioting too, making you look like fools and thugs.
Almost as bad as telling the world your not selling Wayne Rooney, whilst secretly negotiating with Chelsea without telling the player.

Only to then make the player put in a transfer request to cover your own back

Welcome to EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB where every owner in the country asks “what would Everton do?”

Dyche was never likely, he’d want too much to come, including his own entire back room staff and assurances of money to spend. Almost any manager would.

The only idiots who will come in and work within the existing framework, with the existing players, without any money to spend, are people with a connection to the club like Ferguson, Rooney, Carsley, Baines.j

Great title for a Tv series that, "What would Everton do?" Episode 3: Let's set up the fans.

Yeah for me this is the worst thing about it all.

Loads of these players have seen multiple managers come and go, largely because of them. Do they literally feel no shame at all?
Makes you wonder if there is someone at FF that’s been their for years, gets on really well with the players, that sort of facilitates or gently encourages them to club together and moan/down tools etc (encourages probably wrong word but listens to them moan and almost validates it rather than telling them to grow up and work harder).

Happens for every manager, every coaching team, and with completely different players and squads. This was the year we supposedly had more leadership with Coady, Tarks, coupled with Seamus. Winners like Lampard and Cole. But it’s exactly the same M.O. every time results turn and players get called out in the media. They immediately batten down the hatches and couple of months later the manager is gone.

I know it happens with a lot of teams, but it’s carbon copy here every time. Can’t just blame the culture from the top. Culture where they spend all their time day in day out is the issue. Who is there letting the seeds of discontent grow? Coleman often mentioned as great for helping new players settle. Is he too great? Is he a captain that makes sure all the players are happy, takes calls from them whenever they are unhappy, rather than a captain that makes sure the rules are followed and the managers standards met?
