Everton statement:

Everton can confirm that first team manager Frank Lampard has been relieved of his duties. First team coach Joe Edwards and coaches Paul Clement and Ashley Cole will also leave the club.

We would like to thank Frank and his team for their hard work over the past 12 months. As a club we believe that this would have proved to be a successful partnership until those horrible fans brutally assaulted our Board of Directors. Following a further attack on Frank, in a hotel in London by hostile fans, we have concerns regarding his long term safety.

We've tried that too but it still did't work out for us.

Howard Kendall take a heavenly bow and we all remember just how good you were as a player and a manager for us.
When? You can say Martinez but he'd proven to be a bad manager. Moyes but that worked. And then I guess Silva? Well he's a good manager too.

Most pathetic thing is we got stuffed twice in a week by Bournemouth who haven’t won a game since. Yet we kept Frank, allowed a full World Cup to take place. Arranged for no players to be signed at the very beginning of January. Have been beaten by Wolves, Southampton and West Ham Since, publicly backed the manager, nkw we sack him. Just a stupid stupid club.
