Lampard was severely let down by us not getting a striker much the same way Dyche has been too. Both have had horrendous luck with injuries.

I'm not sure if Lampard would have got results with a decent forward, I think he would have at least done better. I'd stick my neck out and say his record at Chelsea has been in part caused by the players thinking well he lost his last umpteen games, he's only a caretaker, why bother? (they too had forward issues which must have been funny to Frank)

I think he is done as a manager but it shows how choosing the wrong job as well as a bit of bad luck can ruin you.

I mean Lampard also did it last season, we can't know if he could have done it this season. It's completely moot.

If Lampard saved us last season from Benitez, but Dyche relegates us after Lampard this season, is he actually worse?

Given his form this season I don’t understand how he can change his fortune by bringing that winger on loan. He was sacked for a reason.

Deflect what? The board - mismanagement for years which I agree.

The mess that FL had created here and I blame him for that. He signed the players last summer with Thelwell.

Sorry I cannot listen to any excuse were Lampard concerned. He was a dreadful manager. The team were an absolute shambles on the pitch losing games at home to bottom of the league teams is just meh! His record at Chelsea is appalling too.
 
Chelsea should sack him after the United game on Thursday.

Petty and spiteful yes, but he should be made aware that he needs to take responsibility for the run of results since his return and his performance is unacceptable.

Like I say, I was just being petty because in post match interviews he never seems to accept his contribution to the lack of success, which winds me up a bit.

Sack him after the penultimate game as a gesture and deny him his final match on the Sunday.

Yeh that’s a good idea. Spend money on severance when you don’t have to.
