There has been a big improvement since going to 4 at the back
Not sure they’re a poor side tbh. They didn’t play well that’s for sure, but you could argue the way we were set up didn’t allow them to play well, particularly the way Gana, Onana and Iwobi went about their jobs! It's funny cause a loss yesterday and this place would've went into freefall.
Still a lot of work to be done, that was a really really poor West Ham side.
They’ve won five in twenty-one league games according to the BBC, which is something I hadn’t recognised as thought they’d be a decent team. It's funny cause a loss yesterday and this place would've went into freefall.

Oh the usual suspects where recently.Who’s saying that? Ban them into the void if anyone is trying that.
Its more to do with the fact we signed 3 new midfielders. We had no options to play a 3 early in the season. And you cant play a back 4 with a midfield 2.

The squad is stronger, the performances are better and the fans actually have (some) faith. It’s chalk and cheese compared to last year’s fiasco.'Barely did any better points wise than rafael last season!'
No lads. No.
Hes given us our club back.

Not sure on top half but they'll be much higher than they are currently. They are having a typical Moyes slow start and that makes it hard to push higher than 10thOf course they’re not a poor side and they’ll comfortably finish top half this season and go far in Europe again.

A definite tactic used in the game Iwobi & Onana smothered Paqueta & Rice in midfield . On the odd occasion they got through Gana just mopped it up.Not sure they’re a poor side tbh. Only thing that makes me wonder was Moyes using Thursday as an excuse. I remember when he started rolling out the excuses there were usually some problemsI’m not sure about that, they’ll finish well into the top half pushing Europe again imo.
We'd have lost the game last season. They’ve won five in twenty-one league games according to the BBC, which is something I hadn’t recognised as thought they’d be a decent team.
Still, they’re a decent team, both physically and technically, and are well organised. It wasn’t one of our best performances this year, but we dug deep.
We’re not going to flamboyantly beat many teams this season, but grinding out wins and draws as we improved is an improvement.
Hopefully, the one win on the board will add the confidence needed to push on further, and beating the likes of West Ham is what we need.
