Even if he is dud manager (i guess you mean tatically - I presume?) we simply cannot afford to change at this moment or even the next couple of years. He has done well to create an identity, to improve players and not just continue to play the same old if they don't perform.

Even if he hits his glass celling with us it looks like we'll be better off than when he started and that will give the new man a platform. Change for change sake and we could end up going backwards, another sacking, more compo, less money for the team with players who have no core feeling to what being an Everton player is and happy to meander and pick up the cash.

Not sure I follow this 'logic', even if he isn't improving us further you want to stick with him because of this change for change sake bizarre line. Managers get sacked for reason, I, can't think many efc managers sacked for the sake of it

Allardyce was a case of (wrongly or rightly) we could do better and isn't that what your suggesting by your views on Frank?

What I love most about Super Frank is his ability to boil the heads of all of the tricky reds simply by existing. Don’t think we’ve ever had a manager that riles them like he does, in this thread alone we’ve had two of them out themselves just two months into the season. Is it because he kept us up and absolutely ruined their whole season last year when they’d geared themselves up for a quadruple and Everton relegation? Is it because he’s currently level on points with the best manager in the history of the game who has a racist captain and abuses journalists when he loses a game? Who knows, but I’m here for it and long may it continue. He’s bringing out more kopite tears than the French police, which is saying something.

SUUUUUUUUUPERRRRR ???

2? I think the Dame is one? Who else is on the anti-Frank coalition watchlist?

Yeh, it’s us with the weird behaviour...

Weird.

Also weird,

Even weirder,

Even weirder still,

Definitely weird (and possibly in denial),

And the mothership,

"Good morning,

Reddit sent me here as I just can't figure that site out.

Are we ever going to sign any players?

nice to meet you all"

Keep on being the weird one who definitely hasn't been posting on GOT before July 2022.
That is excellent work.

Super Frank would be proud.

Even though I think Frank made tactical errors last week against Man U (too open at the back), I have 100% faith in him that he’s fully aware and will fix it, because he’s shown that last year and corrected mistakes.

Win/Lose vs spurs, it’s about the bigger picture and correcting mistakes along the way. We’ll be absolutely fine this year.

Sam ironically was one of the ones who we changed when he was doing a decent job. Not sure what you are implying over my views on the Cockney wide boy
He needed replaced. He got us safe* and had the opportunity to change the system from 11 men defending the box. He didn't. Some of the worst football I've ever watched. He lucked out with league position for number of points because the league was garbage that season. (Ie, Carlo got more points but finished lower)

*He wasn't needed to mind.

I totally agree - he made tactical errors, and I'd also say (actually my main issue with him) he made subs too late.

BUT - I do like that towards the end he just went for it, rondon on, formation out the window launch balls in the box & pickford up for corners. This 'I'd rather lose 1-3 trying to get a draw' is right up my Strasse.

I think it goes back to the 'debate' about him and Gerrard and who should be dropped from the England team. The Kopites never forgave Lampard for scoring all those goals for Chelsea and England. They hate him.

An interesting theory, it does make sense, they certainly hate it when the attention isn’t all on them/their players/their managers. He also scored a few goals to knock them out of the Champions League in consecutive seasons in 08 and 09 too so there’s that reason why they might hate him. I tend to go with the idea that they hate him for replacing one of their heroes and halting the slide towards the Championship that he put us on. They cannot live with the fact that he kept us up and ruined the fat slob’s good work and will never forgive him for it.

He is weedkiller for kopites on this forum, they cannot help but reveal themselves plain as day when talking about him. Which just makes me love him even more.
