Yep, think Lampard has his flaws tactically, but he also doesn't just stick with the same setup for every opponent. He won't get it right every game because if he did he'd be managing a Real Madrid.

I don't understand why you're showing me this. My initial point was why did you whinge about the back 3 formation (that wasn't) at Spurs, but didn't whinge about it against Palace with both teams having deadly wide left players.

Or do you only speak when criticising Lampard's tactics?

Because it was vastly different tactically. People complain about me not watching but there's no way you could have watched those two matches and come away thinking we were trying to do the same things in the game. None. Zero.

I predict that Uncle Gareth will leave/get sacked after the WC. He has done ok TBF.

The FA will go for either Potter or Frank or Howe. (obvs really).

All will say "Nah, not for me". (Howe might have concerns if he leaves the skunks, y'know)

I think for this reason Gareth won't be sacked or leave TBH. He'll get the next Euros too. Either because we've done well in Qatar, or if we've done badly it will be because he's earned some good will and/or there are currently no realistic replacements
