The calls for his head on here are a joke. He took over an absolute mess , saw what 5 other managers didn’t That michael Keane is a liability and has brought some new players in that are starting to gel. We all need to get behind our manager and be positive. A win today will be massive. COYB
Part of the reason a few of us have questions is that every defense of him omits something along the lines of "we're playing good football and/or winning a lot" because neither of those things are happening.

Mate how long and how many managers haven't played good football or won lots like you say?? Carlo Ancelotti, one of the best managers in the game had us playing dreadful football. People who say they want him out have no answer for who comes in and delivers this world class winning football almost immediately!

Everyone's entitled to there opinions, but back them up with who comes in? And what does he change that delivers this classly football with lots of wins?? I like Pep myself, wonder if he would come.

Let me clarify: I don't mean pretty football. I mean good as in we're the better team in matches. That can be largely defensive if you still have a way to counter, create chances and score goals. I'm not bothered if we have 35% possession so long as we're still threatening. We however are not doing this.

We were far the better side in our last home game

But what you do in both 18 yard areas decides tight games

Not wrong, but for me the only occasion this season where it is true.

And last season under Frank you only had one or two other occasions. None of them away from home and no strings of performances. So we've got work to do.

Of course we have work to do. We were in the relegation zone last April. The manager hasn't even been here a year

In Frank's own words in his programme notes today "As I’ve said many times, that journey is a process rather than a magic click of the fingers". It's about progress, incremental and in the right direction. I'll ask this question, has there been huge improvement in spirit, mood of the fans, football style and general feel of the club since he has come in??

I'm not saying it's perfect but I am saying that it's gone in the right direction, it's going to take time and stability.

And you didn't answer my question original question, who comes in to replace him, and what does he change to get this so called style of play??

No.

Wasnt happening last season either and we were getting battered every week . This is a huge improvement and we are going in the right direction for first time in years .. be positive my friend ?

The football style bit
Argh sorry you highlighted it in bold my bad.

So that's the only thing you can pick out?? If he has the rest right then he's done alot of good then.

And actually your assessment in my opinion is wrong. He's addressed weaknesses in the squad and added real balance to the team making it alot harder to beat in the very few windows he's had to make a difference so actually there is real progress in that colum.

But we will ignore the facts and ask you to back your opinions, which previous manager before him, played a better style of play and why was it better??

I'd say "how well the team plays football" is a pretty important part of the equation with respect to the fans who I'm glad are back behind the side.
