Bar is real low

I don't know what Everton team you've been watching for the last 10 years save for a couple of seasons were we looked decent but the one I've been watching has been making hard work of beating crap teams. Nevermind beating an actually half decent side with no out and out centre forward.

The bar is lower than what it was when Moyes was our manager. That's were the mismanagement under Moshiri has brought us. Just happy we finally seem to heading back in the right direction.

I genuinely think he only started following football about 3 seasons ago or something lol

It'd be nice to be winning with sexy football, but solidity and winning is far from the worst thing. The problem comes when it's turgid and the results are not there at all and / or there's a clear downward spiral (look at someone like Tony Pulis or Steve Bruce).

I'd take midtable ablnd another round of evolving the squad in the summer. I don't think Lampard is an Allardyce pragmatist above all else, I think he'll want a better footballing team.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying. Where I differ is I just don't think you have to do a season and a half of Allardyce no matter how deficient the players are before switching to something else. And the players aren't even bad anymore! He can do something else right now!

Anyway let's go get the points now.
