You wouldn't swap Gordon, McNeil and Gray for Podence, Neto and Guedes?

Well it’s interesting. Podence Neto and Guedes have I think 3 goals and 2 assists between them this season in the league ?

I think Neto is class, but I wouldn’t take Guedes, Diego Costa, or Jimenez in his current form over Maupay. And both Gordon and Gray are more productive than Podence I believe.

I would attribute that to the fact Dwight McNeil has scored 8 goals and assisted in 18 in his entire career

And Demarai Gray has scored 25 in his entire carrer

I’m not doubting that at all, they’re both seriously poor. But at what point can we admit the way they’re setup is wrong.

We rejected good money for Gordon in the summer which would’ve undoubtedly gave even more funds to improve the attack. Terrible decision.

What’s the alternative setup when our attacking options haven’t reached 50 career goals between the 3 of them

We never at all, we did not get an offer close to £60m for Anthony Gordon. It was more in the £25-30m range with addons

Imo only difference between watching us under Lampard and Alladyce is we fanny around with it at the back under Fronk.

Watching us in the midfield / final third is like for like imo - lots of sideways and back passes with the hope of nicking a goal and hoping the defence see's the game oot.

Gordon and Gray are absolute crud and wouldn’t get in any other side in the league.

Good managers find a way to make things work mate. We’re utterly drivel and it’s not just the attack - the midfield setup is appalling.
