sure. there might be work permit problems. still.. worth making a note on the old scouting scrap book.

Excellent athletes they just need nurturing. The US sometime in my lifetime will have a quality league and put some superstars on the field. But I feel the time isn't in the near future.

He is still a kid really. Has great potential and shined in his age group with the U-20's but sadly I think hes had problems even in the MLS being consistent. I think he be polished by getting some prem club training. But just like Canada Toffee thinks probably just hogwash.

there were a few really good players on the us u20 team. i was quite surprised when they got knocked out. if moyes bags one it would be very interesting.

Remember also that the team USA sent to the South American Cup was a "B"-squad with many youngsters, a few of them might even have been used in the u20 if not picked for the National team.

That Bradley kid the coaches son will be a heavily recruited player in the next year or so. Mark that down. He has a good head on his shoulders and good skills. Has that bulldog attitude that I like.

Maybe worth it

Freddy is getting better. He'll never get to where he needs to be unless he moves away from the MLS. If we bring him in and give him a little training and beef him up a little, he'll be ok. He's got the raw talent, just needs more of a challenge and better training than he can get here in the US.

That's what I'm saying. Young American "soccerballers" in general fit this mold and why I think Everton has three academies in the states plus a Canadian and Chinese reality show going.

Don't forget, they don't evaluate players based on some scouts gut feeling, they analyze film with computer software to rate effectiveness. If they throw enough players at it they will continue to unearth raw young talent that they can mold into top flight footballers.
