Friedkin's To Do list.

I thought you were demanding the AGMs to be reintroduced the other week?

Are you saying now that because TFG dont do communication then that's a demand you no longer make?

I still am. However, TFG do things their way. With their people brought to the board

We are yet to see what they will do

I am waiting and seeing and will see how they "engage"

This acquisition is not yet complete. There is still the US court and the Leadenhall case to consider prior to the acquisition going through

Sounds like you're prepared to cut them some slack where you weren't prepared to do it for Moshiri.

What's sauce for the goose...

I'll "engage" and see what they propose to do @davek in terms of corporate governance

You're jumping on stuff yet when ink isn't even dry on the deal

Let alone discussions who they are going to place on the board

On a serious note, at Roma they've hiked the season ticket prices massively since buying them 4 years ago.

TFG need to make sure they dont alienate especially the match-going fans who have paid to watch utter tat for years in a sub-fit-for-purpose PL stadium like GP.

They cant come in here and effectivley tip those fan upside down and shake out the money from their pockets. If they do that they can expect a greater backlash than the Curva Sud have given them so far.
The danger is though if they'll accept that at those prices then......

From what little I've read the Friedkins aren't too bothered about being seen in the crowd and soaking up the adulation. He'll be quite happy flying planes between golf courses and handsomely reward somebody else to deal with the angry mob. He's a billionaire born to a billionaire - any show of contrition will be entirely for marketing purposes. They'll be poking the bear just as those over the park have countless times before making a very public show of backing down and purporting to be on the side of the loyal and valued fans

I've a suspicion the more modern owners of football clubs, especially this level of billionaire, see fans as window dressing for their stadium rather than anything to be considerate of.

It's all but done though. Regardless of that we can still make demands of this nature in advance...or at least agree that demanding more democracy is correct.

The new stadium is fantastic, of course. But (and this is regardless of whether it's TFG or Textor or whoever else) that will become a sweated facility.

We're heading toward a new era for Everton fans. Our fans have been hit by PL prices along with other top flight fans but there's been an attempt to keep within reason the cost to young and old and those with the least broad financial shoulders involved in match day attendance.

My concern is that's about to change and it'll blow a hole through our culture.

The new owners need to be mindful of our tradions and the nature of the community they're moving into. The wards in the north end are some of the most deprived communities in the country and in fact in Europe. This isn't an area or fanbase that can sustain price hikes of hundreds of pounds and not leave any damage.

It isn't "all done" though @davek it's in the process of being done. It's unlikely to be fully "done" prior to Christmas I would say.

This season we have signed Tim, O'Brien, NDiaye and (if permanent) Lindstrom & Broja for circa 90m. If you throw in the season before add Chermiti and Beto for 120m total.

It's 7 players of the right age profile (Beto at the upper end). That's the sort of profile I hope we look to attract more of, ideally with some loans and frees sprinkled on top.

I'd ignore Beto mate, it was an anomaly we would not have done if fiscally sound
