fulham splashing the cash

Didn't they splash the cash last season...and were did it get them? Just managing to avoid relegation on the last day of the season.
 
i can understand buying johnson, i mean we know how the last former everton strikers they got worked out, but why on earth would they want to buy a striker that was complete [Poor language removed] in the euros for that much money.
 
you may want to read the everton songs thread as i penned rather a good one when we thought we were going to sign zoltan gera, its near the start so shouldnt be too hard to find, you can have that.

He was, but you can't ignore what he did in league play, and just focus on 3 games. If he would have played well in the Euros, he would be selling for well over 20m...but Gomez was fantastic for Stuttgart, so we know he can score.
