He was, but you can't ignore what he did in league play, and just focus on 3 games. If he would have played well in the Euros, he would be selling for well over 20m...but Gomez was fantastic for Stuttgart, so we know he can score.

we know he can score in the bundesliga, IMO the premier league is a very different game

with the euros i was furious that gomez got to play at all, as i had schweinsteiger on both of my fantasy teams (along with kallstrom, van persie, and Frei btw, u can guess how that turned out) and was mad that gomez was playing ahead of him (podolski up front made so much more sense).

you are right though, league play and internationals are two very different games, so he may do well for them.
