Probably a £30m player available for free. Although only foreign clubs can agree a pre-contract with him from January. Maybe he'll end up at Chelsea with Potter, but I'd absolutely love us to make a move for him. Classy player.

We need to be getting something from this - and a win should be the target. If we can't win, we must ensure we do not lose. At some point, we need to start gaining a little momentum. This is a good opportunity. But overall, if we can take, say, a minimum of five points from the next available nine then it'll have been a solid start to the campaign.

Difficult game against an in form team with plenty of fire power. A draw would be good. Silva has done really well since we threw him out. I was glad when he was sacked and now I would take him back if circumstances changed.

Not sure what to make of this one, I think they may be tougher than others think and are playing well. I think getting a point would be a bonus, but it is possible they have just had an easy run of games. Id see LCFC and Bournemouth as the ones we are eyeing for wins prior to the World Cup.
