Just want the weekend to come. That weekend felt like I was suspended in animation.

How sad is it being a working class lad where you would take up an offer of a time machine every Monday to get to Friday. You’d die of old age in what would feel like a year.

The game being on Sunday at least gives Carlo a bit more time to get to work on the training pitch.

I'd personally like to see us go with a back three. It might give Allan and Doucoure a bit more licence to get around the pitch, and free James up to play central.

But, 4-3-3 (with Richarlison) worked brilliantly earlier in the season.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him go with the line up that played in those games, bar Holgate coming in for Mina, and obviously if Coleman is out it'll be Kenny or Godfrey.

Mason in at RB, Godders and Keane CBs, James in the No.10 and Gordo (but probably Iwobi) RF.

Of course, in reality it doesn't matter what we do. We're Everton and we're playing a team yet to win, while we're in desperate need of some momentum to get us going again. Insipid 3-1 defeat incoming, followed by the usual, November GoT meltdown.

Can I just say that the seasons just started were not even at Christmas yet (where the important bulk of fixtures usually takes place) we finished 12th last season and have signed 3 players since. I agree the last 3 games have been dire but let's get a bit of perspective and get behind the lads.

Get James at number 10, Gordon on the right and get at this championship team, 3 nil blue boys!
