Depends on what injuries (if any) our players return with but I want to see us being more positive and maybe go with two up-top from the start. Plenty of flexibility there for switching and changing things about if needs be. And yes, I've left Doucouré out.

Allan can barely do his job with two actual CMs in the team with him. I don't understand how that formation would do anything but leave us wide open.

I watched these against Palace the other week and Palace had plenty of chances counter attacking, as long as we don’t mess about sideways and backwards passing we will get chances.
They also created plenty of chances and Lookman has been very good.
I can see both teams scoring.
If the Everton that started the season turn up then 1-4, of the recent Everton turn up then 2-3 or3-4.

We have to score first though. Palace did have lots on the counter but only because they took there early chance and Lookman hit the post twice. The game Fulham won was the opposite.

We should be winning this no matter what though. Lemina and Anguissa are turnover prone and questionable positionally so James and company can and should be able to pick the apart. The goal needs to be a comprehensive win where we finally keep a clean sheet.

Before ppv was introduced some games were moved to 6pm kick offs on Mondays etc

I know I keep banging this drum, and hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I honestly believe we would've done absolutely no worse had we just gone like-for-like with Gordon for the games Richarlison was out.

It always seems to be a case of square pegs in round holes whenever he is out of the side, probably a big contributing factor as to why we've yet to win a Premier League football match without him..

Fulham is the team with the most crosses in the PL. We should deny them that, especially from the sidelines. If not, Mitrovic will terrorize our defenders. Precisely because this is the form of attack on which Fulham build much of their game, I would use Keane and Mina as CB. I would also use the formation 4-2-3-1, whereby JR is number 10. In addition, I would set the line high, and pressed hard. Constantly seek ball possession, and use this to control the game. Mitrovic poses no danger in the space behind the defensive line. In addition, we have been good at set pieces, and Mina is a threat here (more than Holgate).

I know Holgate is better, or so I'm told, but if they cross a lot we need size.

Not a fan of it but I think we need to go to a back 5. Just think with the players we have we would suit that shape and really does give James a free role without leaving the right side totally exposed. Also solves the dilemma of having to put one of Gomes/Siggy & Delph into the side.
